AIPC has rescheduled the Newport County Legislative Forum for Thursday, April 27th. This event was originally scheduled for Wednesday, March 15th, and rescheduled due to weather. Event details are the same for the new date – but please note that if you had previously registered for the event in March, you must re-register to confirm your spot on April 27th! The Aquidneck Island Planning Commission, in partnership with the Newport Daily News and the Community College of Rhode Island, invites you to the 2017 Newport County Legislative Forum, the next event in AIPC’s ‘Smart Island’ series of events.

Join us for a conversation with Newport County’s state senators and representatives!

Legislators from Newport County will each have a few minutes to speak about their top issues and will take questions from the audience during a discussion, moderated by Neil Stenberg, President & CEO of the Rhode Island Foundation.

We will discuss the 2017 legislative session, focusing on current issues of importance to Aquidneck Island and Newport County.

When: Thursday, April 27th, 2017, from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m.
Coffee & Networking from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m.; program begins promptly at 8:30.
